I'm Veronica Sampaio, the owner and financial professional behind VESAM Financial.

I have more than 20 years of experience working in financial and administrative services, supporting businesses, executives, and high-level financial operations. Over the years, my work has gone far beyond bookkeeping. I've managed financial records, accounts payable and receivable, budgeting, cash flow, expense control, reporting, and the day-to-day organization that keeps businesses running smoothly.

I am a QuickBooks Online Certified Bookkeeper, and I bring a combination of financial expertise, organizational skills, and hands-on experience to every client relationship.

My professional background has given me a perspective that goes beyond simply recording transactions.

I've worked in family office environments, supporting complex financial operations and handling sensitive financial information with discretion and attention to detail. I've also spent many years providing high-level administrative and executive support, where organization, confidentiality, follow-through, and anticipating what needs to happen next are essential.

That experience shaped the way I work with small businesses today.

I created VESAM Financial to provide small business owners with the kind of organized, dependable financial assistance that allows them to focus on what they do best—running their business.

Many small business owners don't need a full-time accounting department. But they do need someone they can trust to keep their records organized, stay on top of the details, and help them understand their numbers.

That's where I come in. I work closely with my clients to provide personalized bookkeeping and financial coordination, from QuickBooks cleanup and monthly reconciliations to cash flow planning, budgeting, accounts payable and receivable, and 1099 preparation.

I believe good financial management starts with accuracy, organization, and consistency.

I take the time to understand how your business works rather than applying a one-size-fits-all approach. I pay attention to the details, look for patterns and inconsistencies, and communicate clearly about what I find.

VESAM Financial is based in New York City. For clients in Manhattan, the East Village, Brooklyn, and Queens, in-person meetings are available when helpful, and I'm happy to travel to you when an in-person meeting makes sense.
